Introduction

The Student Creativity International Contest (SCIC) is a prestigious platform designed to nurture and showcase the diverse talents of students worldwide. Recognizing creativity as a vital element in both personal and professional development, this event encourages participants to express their creativity and potential through various competitive categories.

The contest includes a wide range of performances and presentations, such as dancing, singing, English speech contests, business idea presentations, and more.

In today’s rapidly changing world, fostering creativity and innovation is essential for developing future leaders and professionals. SCIC offers students a unique opportunity to demonstrate their talents, while also enhancing their communication, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial skills in a global context. This event serves as a vibrant cultural exchange, enabling students to learn from each other, build networks, and celebrate diversity.

Through this competition, we aim to empower students to challenge themselves, embrace new ideas, and strive for excellence in their chosen fields. We believe that this event will ignite inspiration, creativity, and collaboration, ultimately contributing to a more innovative and inclusive global community.

Competition Format

The competition will feature various online challenges across multiple disciplines, ensuring an inclusive experience for all participants:

1. Humanities and Social Sciences

English Speech Contest: Each participant will deliver a 10-minute speech on one of the following themes:

  1. Digital Transformation and the Future of Education: Exploring how digital tools are reshaping learning and the role of technology in future education.
  2. Youth Empowerment in Sustainability Initiatives: Discussing how young people can lead environmental sustainability efforts in their communities and beyond.
  3. Embracing Diversity and Inclusion in a Globalized World: Addressing the importance of cultural diversity, inclusivity, and respect in our increasingly interconnected societies.
  4. The Role of Innovation in Tackling Societal Challenges: Analyzing how creative solutions and new technologies can help solve issues like poverty, healthcare, and climate change in Southeast Asia.
  5. Global Citizenship and Social Responsibility: Highlighting the need for students to engage in global issues and promote social good.

The speech recordings will be published on YouTube.

2. Business and Economics

Business Plan Presentation Competition: Participants will present a business idea in a 7-10 minute presentation. The presentations will be recorded and published on YouTube.

3. Arts and Culture

Traditional Dance Competition: A group of at least three dancers will perform a traditional dance, recording their performance. The video will be published on YouTube.

Singing Contest: Participants will sing an English song and record their performance. They can choose between:

  • “Heal the World” by Michael Jackson (1991)
  • “Rise Up” by Andra Day (2015)

All videos will be published on YouTube, with links sent to the official contest email: [email protected].

A panel of distinguished judges from academia will evaluate the submissions and performances. Awards will be presented to:
